Elegant custom fine writing instrument: A few years ago, we went on a quest to find the perfect fine writing instrument for this custom leather journaling gift set. We searched high and low and while we found some great fine writing instruments in the process, none of them were quite right - until our in-studio wood worker presented us The Sceptre. Perfect in every tiny detail, the Sceptre fine writing instrument is the perfect pen to include in such an exquisite journaling gift set.

Available in your choice of Rollerball, Fountain, or Ball Point pens, these are a writer's dream. The accent rings, bands, & caps have an elegant custom casted 3-dimensional ribon design. The components are cast, polished, and plated with durable 2-micron 22K gold plat and rhodium or black Titanium.

The rollerball and ball point styles of this gorgeous fine writing instrument include a Schmidt™ pen nib and a refill with a steel cartridge with a ceramic point.

The fountain pen includes an elegant medium Schmidt™ gold and Iridium nib plus a premium ink pump and ink cartridge.

Custom Wood Keepsake gift box: There's nothing like a beautiful custom wood keepsake gift box to protect those things that you hold dear. To complete this exquisite custom leather journaling gift set, we asked our in-studio wood worker to create a variety of beautiful custom wood boxes that were heirloom quality and also highly customizable. After months of work, he gave us 3 box styles that we adored. Pictured at right, our "slider" custom wood gift box - simple and elegant, the slider is a great custom wood box. Second, he created two styles of hinged boxes for us. The first is the custom wood hinged box that everyone sees in their mind when you think "custom wood hinged gift box". The second style of custom wood hinged box has a double lid - which opens like cottage doors. It's simply exquisite and definitely makes the custom wood box, itself, quite a conversation piece!
